Across The Lion's Gate Bridge

Vancouver. The last city on the schedule. We didn’t do much the morning of our first day, just hung around the campsite. But after lunch, we decided to do some walking around. Our campground was right next to the Lion’s Gate Bridge, which goes over the water and into Stanley Park, and we decided to hike across it. It’s quite a large bridge, and very high. It definitely wasn’t Kizzy’s favourite. She was scared of the drop on one side and the cars on the other, poor thing, but

we made it across without and incidents. Once on the other side, we headed up to Prospect Point, which looks out over the harbour as well as West Vancouver. Once wed gotten our fill of the view, we headed down to the sea wall, which, as you might have guessed from the name,

follows along the water. We walked down to Brockton Point Lighthouse before deciding to head back. I was getting pretty thirsty and the map said we weren’t far from a café that was along our path back home, so we headed for it. We all grabbed some ice creams once we got there and ate them while checking out the nearby totem poles. I can’t believe how much detail is in those poles, it’s kind of crazy. We finished with our little break and began our trek back across the bridge, which Kizzy hated just as much the second time. It was dinner time when we got back so we ate quickly and then settled down for the evening. Peace out m8s.
