Because the weekend is a long one, our campground had been booked solid from the 18th to the 23rd by the time Mum started book for Victoria. This meant that we had to move half an hour up island to another campground in Saanichton for one night before we caught the ferry back to the mainland. We were pretty slow moving in the morning and it took us a while to get on the road. We pulled out of our campsite at around 11:00am, and pulled into our new campsite around forty-five minutes later. The new place was right off the ocean and was very nice. I stayed in the trailer for the rest of the afternoon and did some homework while the other three took the dog for a walk on the beach. Near supper time, Dad took Isaac and I out while Mum made dinner because she likes the place to herself while she’s cooking. When we got back, Mum had the Cajun dirty rice all ready to go and it was quite delicious. Peace out m8s.
