To Cannon Beach

Further up the coast we go after our little stop in Coos Bay. Today’s destination was Cannon Beach, which is a very nice area according to Mum. She visited the area once when she was younger with her family, and remembers it being really nice. The drive was rather long, so we tried to get out as soon as possible. Unfortunately, just as we were about to finish up everything, we encountered a bit of a problem. Our largest slide, which is a part of the kitchen/living room area, stopped working. The gears in the motor seamed to be slipping, judging by the sound it made when we tried to bring it in. Eventually, some of the neighbours came over to offer help and we managed to get the thing in through a combination of pressing the ‘In’ button and pushing by Mum, Isaac, and the neighbours. Dad called a couple of repair places when we got on the road, but it didn’t seem as though we would be able to get it fixed any time soon. Fortunately, it’s mostly just an inconvenience and doesn’t actually block access to anything, so I think we’ll be able to live with it perpetually in. We set up quickly when we arrived in Cannon Beach and the parents took the dog for a walk into town. They picked up a pizza for dinner and Isaac and I relaxed back at the trailer while they were gone. Peace out m8s.
