Sonya’s Blog - Day 263 - March 11th - Hanging out in Mesa

Our friends, Cody, Casey and their daughter Ella, are arriving at the Phoenix airport today. We are heading to the house in Mesa to get it set up. Natasha and I will get the lunch ready and then Blake and Isaac are heading to the airport to pick them up.

Cody’s Mum has a beautiful house in Mesa, which we have been lucky enough to stay at on two previous visits. It is in a nice community and there are many amenities available for the residents to use.

Everyone got to the house at about 1 and Natasha and I had lunch ready. We all had lunch and then Casey and I headed to the pool with the kids to hang out. Cody and Blake went to the grocery store to stock up. We had brought over some food, but not enough for several meals.

It was a beautiful day, the high was 31. We had a good time at the pool, although the water was a bit chilly. That was fine though, as there is a hot tub and we could just go warm up there.

Just as we were leaving Cody and Blake showed up, but the sun was going down and we were hungry for supper, so we just went back to the house. Ella had only had a short nap, in the truck on the way from the airport, so she needed to go to bed early.

We had a nice supper and then Ella went to bed. We stayed for a bit more visiting and then headed back to our RV. Blake and Cody decided that we should pack our bags and come and stay for a few days. We will do that tomorrow
