Sonya’s Blog - Day 250 - February 27th - Driving to Albuquerque

We are off to our last stop in New Mexico, Albuquerque. We will also be visiting Santa Fe while we are there, as it is only 1 hour away.

We had to go through the mountains, but the road took us over to an area where it was really just hills. There is a lot of volcanic rock as we got closer to the mountain area.

We are just north of Albuquerque in the town of Bernalillo. We picked this campground, so that we could be between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, as we want to visit both while we are here.

We just set up and then hung out at the campsite for the rest of the afternoon. Not too exciting.
