A Hair Cut, A Hair Cut

Auntie Suz gave both Isaac and I a list of suggested projects to complete whilst we visit, since she is our unofficial Home Ec. teacher, so I started on that this morning. I had to write up a summary of the history of Halloween and two other cultures honouring the dead. I chose the Latin American Dia de los Muertors, the Day of the Dead, and the Japanese Obon, the Festival of the Lanterns. Auntie Suz and I both had haircuts at noon, so all of us packed up and went for a walk, dropping the two of us off at the hair salon. I’m very happy with my new haircut, it’s much less awkward, plus I cut my bangs, so those won’t be bothering me anymore. I wanted to dye my hair black to go with my Halloween costume, but Mum doesn’t want me to dye my hair in case it doesn’t look good. Can’t judge it ’til it happens Mum. Instead, Auntie Suz bought me this powder temporary dye. It’s purple, so I can have a purple streaked fringe whenever I feel like it from now on. It kinda makes my hair gross though, so I’d prefer to just go permanent over all. After our haircut, Auntie Suz and I headed over to the grocery store to pick up a few things before walking home. I also bought my lunch. The rest of the day was mostly spent hanging out. Twas good. Peace out m8s.
