Sonya’s Blog - Day 127 - October 27th - Packing up for Pittsburgh

We are off to PIttsburgh tomorrow as Blake’s sister lives there with her husband and 3 children. If you have been reading our blog since the beginning, they had visited us when we were in Chicago. We will be staying with them in the their house so we need to pack up and get this RV ready for storage. It was not going to be an overly exciting day, but it had to be done.

The most interesting thing that happened was we lost all the power and water to our RV. We originally thought something was wrong with our connections, but in the end it was the power company. They were working on some lines and since the water is run from a main pump, both power and water are lost in power outages. It was all back on in an hour or so, so not really a big deal.

We also fit in a game of bocce ball and had an afternoon fire, which was nice and relaxing. Everyone got their bags packed, the cleaning and laundry are done and we are ready for our 9 day hiatus in Pittsburgh.
