Sonya's Blog - Day 101 - October 1st - Dentist Appointments in Halifax

Today was not a very exciting day. It was pouring rain today, but that was fine because we all had dentist appointments. We wanted to make sure we all got our teeth cleaned before we get into the USA. Our first appointment is at 7:45 AM, which meant we had to leave the RV by 6:45 AM. The kids were pretty excited to have to get up at 6:15, but oh well.

We managed to get on the road on time and then we were just hoping that we wouldn't get stuck in too much rush hours traffic. It took us the full hour to get to the dentist and by the time we got there it was pouring rain. We raced out of the truck and up to our appointment. The kids had the first two appointments, then I was at 10 and Blake was not until 3. We were just happy that they were able to fit all four of us in on the same day. There was a Starbucks downstairs, so we set up there and did work while the appointments were happening. It poured rain the whole time, so we were not too sad to be stuck inside with dentist appointments and work to do.

When my appointment was done we went to the Halifax Shopping Centre because we had a few hours to spare before Blake's appointment. We had lunch there, did some more school work and had a look around. Natasha decided it was time to get her cartilage pierced. Blake took off for his dentist appointment and I took Natasha to Claire's to get her piercing done. Isaac went into EB Games next door to look around while the piercing was done. Natasha was super brave and it really didn't hurt her too much. She was very happy that there wasn't too much pain. Here is her picture:

Once Blake was done he came and picked us up at the mall and we headed back to the RV. It was promising to rain all night and we were due to leave tomorrow. We had supper and watched a movie and then called it a night.
