Anne Of Green Gables Loves Gilbert Too

Today we had tickets for the musical Anne & Gilbert. We chilled around the trailer and did some work until it was time to go and even though it started at 1:00pm, we still managed to be late. Woohoo, go us. We managed to make it into the theatre and the play was really good. There were only about fifty people in the venue, since the theatre wasn’t very big at all and the actors weren’t wearing mics, which sometimes made them a little hard to hear. It was very dramatic what with Gilbert being in love with Anne and Anne blowing him off until the very end after dumping her rich and pompous boyfriend Roy. Good times. The guy who played Gilbert used to be on Murdoch Mysteries and it was very well done. Afterwards we headed back to the campsite. The plan was to go to Cavendish Beach after we cleaned up a bit, but it ended up being too windy for even a campfire. We stayed in and watched a movie, Oblivion with Tom Cruise. I thought it was pretty good. It was one of those movies that has you thoroughly confused as to what’s happening until close to the end. Peace out m8s.
