Aunt Theresa and Uncle Fred had to go back home

today, so they had some tea and ate breakfast with us before getting on their way. The boys and I then tried to set up an elaborate pirate ship kite our aunt had bought us a few years ago. It took a bit of trying and tangling up all the cords, but we finally got it in the air. I wanted to go for a coastal drive, so we set out right after lunch on the Central Coastal Drive. I read about a little town called Victoria By The Sea so we went that direction. It’s not very far to anywhere from anywhere on the island so we got there in about half an hour. As it turns out, Victoria By The Sea is about two blocks square and it’s very sleepy. We visited their lighthouse, the biggest tree on P.E.I. which is massive and their chocolate shop which had a chess set made out of chocolate you could win by playing in a chess tournament. After we circled the town, we made our way down onto the pier and Mum and I checked out a few shops at the end. Mum had bought all of us chocolates so we ate those as we got back in the car. We drove through most of the other towns along the way back, looking for a place to eat and found a lobster place in North Rustico. Their food was really good considering it was one of those touristy restaurants. Everything was fresh. I had some crab cakes. The only thing I found about it is that the flavours weren’t very strong so the food was a little bland. We got back to the trailer when it was quite late so I headed straight for bed. Peace out m8s.
